Adopted out of India by a wonderful American woman and relocated to the USA when he was very young, Manny Merrill grew up in Idaho and served in the US Marine Corps from 2008 until 2017, retiring as a Sergeant. Tasked with Motor Transport (MOS 3531) he has multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan. To the uninformed, "Motor T" may not sound like much, but covering a lot of ground, convoys faced the constant threat of IED's (improvised explosive device) and they also presented an opportunity to insurgents looking to stage an ambush.
After nine years of active service, Manny transformed his own recovery journey into a lifelong mission to help others build strength through adaptation. As the co-founder of Adaptive Fitness and Nutrition, he brings a wealth of expierience as a former gym owner and a true fitness expert. He holds an Associate of Science and B.A. in Kinesiology and has experience as a PE teacher, chiropractor assistant, registered behavior technician, and personal trainer. Manny's unique blend of knowledge and passion for fitness enable him to help others transform their lives through movement and wellness.
