A Michigan native, Eddie Moinet began his career in the US Army in 2010 as an 11b (Infantryman). Not long after, Eddie found himself on patrol with his M249 SAW in Afghanistan. Their mission was to support the construction of a school for Afghan children by fighting back the Taliban. As part of the 10th Mountain Division, he spent long days traversing grape fields and dealing with Taliban ambushes. During one large operation, Eddie was wounded by an IED which resulted in the loss of one of his legs below the knee, and the end of his military service in 2013. Today, Eddie leads an active lifestyle in Wyoming where he hikes, hunts, and manages a bed and breakfast with his wife.
